Self-paced, seven-module training for front-line event staff. Staff who understand crowd behavior, movement, communication and escalation can support safer, more consistent operations. TCSM is CrowdSafe Group’s role-focused training program and awards a certificate of completion after the learner meets the course requirements. Some adopted codes and local rules may include crowd-manager provisions. Applicability, staffing ratios and documentation requirements depend on the jurisdiction, occupancy, event and authority having jurisdiction; confirm local requirements with the relevant authority.

The current course awards a certificate of completion when the learner meets the published assessment standard. It is not a professional license, third-party certification or statutory credential. CrowdSafe does not currently claim a mandatory three-year renewal cycle or annual continuing-education requirement. Employers should set refresher training based on role, risk, policy, incident learning and applicable local requirements.

TCSM currently provides CrowdSafe training and a certificate of completion. No NCS4, ASIS, IAVM, FEMA, NFPA or other third-party continuing-education credit is promised unless a specific approval is stated in writing for the applicable offering. Learners seeking credit should verify eligibility directly with the credentialing organization or employer program before enrolling.

Upon successful completion of this course, candidates will be able to determine all elements of risk in the event industry, how to mitigate the risks and threat found in the event industry, the basics of understanding Crowd Management, Emergency Preparedness and Evacuations, Fire Awareness and Prevention, and proper protocols when assisting patrons with ADA needs in the event industry.

Absolutely. A checkpoint test is required to be taken at the end of each module. Those that pass with 80% or better will be allowed to continue on to the next module. There is no limit to the number of times you can train on one module, but you can only take each module test a maximum of three attempts.

Certificates of completion are issued by email to learners who meet the published TCSM requirements and are valid for 12 months from their issue date. They record course completion; they are not a professional license, third-party accreditation or statutory qualification.

Can I complete TCSM on my own schedule?
Yes. TCSM is self-paced, allowing learners to complete the seven modules around their operational schedule.
What credential do I receive?
Learners who meet the published requirements receive a personalized CrowdSafe Group certificate of completion by email after passing the controlled assessment. It records course completion; it is not a professional license, third-party accreditation or statutory qualification.
What are the final-assessment and retake rules?
The controlled final contains 30 randomized multiple-choice questions. You need 24 correct answers (80%) to pass. Two attempts are allowed in a rolling 30-day period, with a 24-hour review period after an unsuccessful attempt. Review the timed-assessment policy in the secure system before selecting Begin assessment. The separate 15-question learning review is practice, not the scored final.
