Who We Are
Nicholas Cusano, the organization's CEO and founding partner, is an expert in Crowd Science & Management with 10 years of real-world experience in the Event Industry. Previously a General Manager with experience overseeing operations for more than 1400 staff and 8 clients, Nicholas brings valuable knowledge to the industry. His expertise includes Risk and Crowd Management for Sports and Special Events, ADA Management, Emergency Mitigation, Crowd Manager Certification, Training Facilitation, and Security & Guest Experience knowledge. Nicholas has worked on notable events such as the 2021 & 2024 Superbowl Experience, 2021 NFL Draft, 2022 NBA All Star Game, and 2023 MLS All Star Game. He holds certifications from IAVM, NCS4, FEMA, and ASIS.
Our Advisors
Greg Julian, a founding partner with over 15 years of military experience, leverages his expertise in Crowd Management and Security Intelligence at CrowdSafe Group. Greg has managed large music festivals and served as a General Manager for clients such as Barclay's Center, UBS Arena, and more. With 25 years in professional event and nightlife management, including providing executive protection for top figures in entertainment, Greg has worked at notable events like the 2023 Superbowl Experience and 2024 Cricket World Tournament. Greg holds certifications including NY State Security Guard License and Arizona Security License.
Matt Zicher, the organization’s business partner, has over 15 years of experience running operations for event businesses including CSC D.C. venues such as Nationals Park, Capital One Arena, Commanders Field, Audi Field. Other notable events Matt has worked include 2021-2024 Kentucky Bourbon Festivals, 2019 World Series, 2018-2019 Breeders Cup, 2018-2019 Big Ten Championships, 2017-2018 Churchill Downs, 2013-2015 BMW PGA Championships. Currently Matt is the Director of Membership with One Southern Indiana Chamber and Economic Development.
